Some of you will remember that I paid homage to a relatively obscure holiday figure, the Krampus. But with the Krampus becoming a somewhat more popular figure lately, I decided it was time to give a little limelight to some other neglected holiday characters, by having the Chroma Crew dress up as them and pose for cards!

And boy are we off to a great start. If you thought the Krampus was scary, well, meet Perchta. Krampus might kidnap you for being naughty, but she'll straight-up eviscerate you for spinning cloth during the holidays. Great news for all of you who like to knit sweaters for your friends and family, no doubt. Perchta can appear as a pretty young woman or as as an old hag. In modern Austrian celebrations, people wear masks of both versions for luck.

As long as we're on the subject of neglected things, I'm also going to give a little shout-out to a comic I follow, but don't mention much. And what better comic to pair with this horror than Armless Amy? Happy reading, everybody! Come back on Monday, when we'll have a new holiday card ready.
